Professor Little is a consultant interventional radiologist, and radiology research lead within the University Department of Radiology, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Reading, UK. He is Professor of Radiology, University of Reading. Prof Little is revered as one of the pioneers of Musculoskeletal (MSK) Embolotherapy and has an international reputation for his research, which he undertakes alongside his busy IR clinical practice. He led the first European study investigating Genicular Artery Embolisation (GAE) in the treatment of knee OA (GENESIS) and is undertaking the largest Randomized Controlled Study in the world comparing GAE to a sham procedure (GENESIS 2). He was awarded the NIHR research rising star award 2018, and the CVIR Editors Medal 2022 for his work in the field of MSK embolisation. He was chair of the British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) Research committee (23-24), and is Incoming deputy chair for the Embolotherapy (ET), CIRSE
He is a current specialist advisor on NICE’s Interventional Procedures Program and is on the Editorial Board for CVIR.
